Ms.Mariamma is a 30+ years old woman who deserted herself from her home where she resided with her siblings family all along after the death of her parents. Since she was completely relying on the family for everything, she had not been educated and they stopped her studies due to the crisis in her family and she couldn’t find any job either. Yet she had this striving heart in her to move on in her life. She is an unmarried woman who has been running all along as an independent woman. She has had a vision problem for ages which can be treated at a huge cost, but no one could afford it for her from then till now and she continues to live her life bearing and moving on.

Mrs.Subbalakshmi is a 60+ years old woman who hadn’t been treated well by the members of her family and she moved out on her own. She wanted to work hard and take care of herself, but she had an issue with her leg and with that she wouldn’t be able to do so. And one fine day, there was this auto man who picked her up, he was the one who let her know about this shelter and that’s how she ended up here.

Mr. Raja is a 64 year old man who was a tailor in his town (Kodaikanal).Due to corona he lost his earnings in his work and had no other way to earn money then he was sent out of his house.His wife and daughter work in a mill but they were not ready to take care of him.Then after when he found a shelter at SUHP he was given a tailor machine by one of the donor of SUHP and that helped him earn money through that and with that he visits his family when he wants and he comes back here .This how he leads his life after ending up here in a safe shelter.
